Who we are

JobTrackz is a job-application tracker with an AI-assisted resume tailoring feature. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account details — your email address, and a display name and avatar if you add one. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your email address and basic profile information from them.
Job application data — everything you enter: job titles, companies, salaries, notes, dates, contacts and links.
Resumes — files you upload (PDF/DOCX) and the text extracted from them. These typically contain your name, contact details, work history and education.
Career data — salary entries and any notes you record in Ascent mode.
Technical data — standard server logs from our hosting and database providers.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service: storing and displaying your applications, generating tailored resumes when you ask, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

AI processing of your resume

When you use Tailor Fit, the content of your resume and the job description you provide are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the tailored version. This happens only when you actively start a tailoring run — we do not send your data to any AI provider in the background.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run the service:

Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
An AI provider — used only for Tailor Fit, as described above.
Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with them.

We don't share your data with anyone else except where we're legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your applications, resumes and career data are deleted with it. Backups held by our providers may persist for a short period afterwards.

Your choices

Access and correction — you can view and edit everything you've entered, directly in the app.
Deletion — you can delete your account at any time from Settings. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
Export — depending on your plan, you can export your applications from the app.

Security

Data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, so your records are only accessible to your account. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Beta status

JobTrackz is currently in invite-only beta. Features may change, and occasional bugs are expected. Please don't rely on it as the only copy of anything important to you — keep your own copies of your resumes.
